Lodz Grand Theatre (seen on the present-day picture) is the largest theatre in the city, specialising in opera, operetta and ballet. It was opened in 1967. In the background of the old photo one can see a factory and mansion (bulit in early 20th century) which belonged to Jacob Kestenberg
